Whether you were invited, came of your own volition, were dragged here by some weirdos in green, or just popped up in the classic "community made you do it" fashion, you are now in THE FELT MANSION. And since Doc Scratch is and will always be an excellent host, you can count on having good food, drinks, and party games aplenty.

There isn't much he can do about the TIME SHENANIGANS, though. But you can steer clear of those if you know how. Unfortunately, there is no way to avoid the mansion's collection of A THOUSAND CLOCKS.

(Speaking of time shenanigans, you may also want to refer here for a rough explanation of what those shenanigans might be. But don't worry about it too much, really. You can just say something if you want to run into a Felt NPC and, hopefully, the shenanigans will be immensely fun for all.)

[she gives a trill in the affirmative and headbutts his leg. she's wearing her collar today, with the tag marked SHIRATAMA, but instead of drawing attention to it like she usually does she's just going to... nip at him. friendliest cat.]

[ pfft. fine then, Shiratama, you're getting passive-agressive scritchings and you will like them. while he uses them as an excuse to get a better look at that collar of hers. ] "Shiratama", eh? Japanese, you are a long way from home.

[well, scritchings make her purr, at least. she'll bite him if he stops, though. and she gives a series of hissing noises at that last remark that are really too close to a laugh to be comfortable.]

[ yeah, that did sound oddly like a laugh, and it makes him raise his eyebrows a little. ] Are you laughing at me?

[she brushes her head up against his hand, purrs slyly and slinks around his legs again, peering up at him with unsettlingly intelligent eyes. yeah, she's laughing at you. what about it?]

Okay, so you are laughing at me. [ HMMMM. he'll just be peering right back at her, going through possibilities in his head. he's pretty sure there's no highly intelligent cats on the community. right? but she couldn't be from anywhere else... ]
